I wanted to create an archetype of a mirror, a statue that dominates and shapes the space around it and acquires true meaning in the reflection of a man, whom it alone has the power to turn into a real human icon.

Description

The project evolved out of sketches while searching for an archetype of a mirror, which led to the design of a functional interior statue, an idol resembling the ancient Greek sculptures of the Cyclades. The colour and material combination – white Carrara marble with white mirror – transform the mirror from everyday object to work of art. (collaboration with Dan Yeffet)
